Mr. Ho’s wife is suffering from dementia. The childless couple have been dependent on each other for many years.
After having the disease, she would suddenly yell affecting others around. They have to stop their favorite activity of going to restaurants. Mr. Ho always hoped to take his wife to dine out again to relive their old dreams.
Staff of Yan Chai Hospital Mrs. Kwok Yuk Cheung Care & Attention Home, volunteers of “Project Amen” and transportation provided by the “Build & Wish Volunteer Team” managed to make his wish come true.
In his early years, he encountered a lot of difficulties in life. He swam into Hong Kong illegally at the risk of losing his life. He became a professional air conditioning technician. Long working hours and bad temper caused his divorce.
After his ex-wife knew that he was suffering from liver cancer in 2014, they became friends again. She encouraged and supported him during the difficult time.
Mr. Tsang’s wish was to publish an autobiography to leave a good memory to his family. His relatives and friends wrote down their impression about him. Although the book has only 20 pages, it was full of immortal love and his gratitude to his family members.
