At the height of the pandemic in the summer of 2021, BASIC’s volunteers were called in to help for the first time to elderlies living in Hing Nam Care home in Shatin. These elderlies felt lonely and isolated as their families were kept away during the pandemic.
The home chief sought help from us. Together we came up with the idea of the photo album as the days of many were numbered.
The album was much cherished by them and their families to pass on fond memories.
